About the Journal

"Journal of Medical Genetics," formerly known as "genetic disease" in 1992 changed its name to "Journal of Medical Genetics." Purpose of the magazine are: reflecting China's medical genetics, human genetics, genomics and human disease, the theory and technology related fields the latest research results, implementing the theory and practice, popularization and improvement of the policy; main audience is engaged in medical the work of clinical genetics doctors, family planning workers, teachers and tertiary students and researchers. With Commentary, of the technology and methods, review, report, clinical genetics, genetic counseling, clinical cytogenetics, case reports and other columns. Since 1998, the U.S. magazine "Medical Index" (Index Medicus, MEDLINE, PubMed), "Chemical Abstracts" (Chemical Abstract), "Engineering Index" (Engeering Index, Ei Compendex-CD, Ei CompendexWeb), "Biological Abstracts "(Biological Abstract), and the Netherlands," Medical Digest "(Excerpta Medica), and Russia," Digest Magazine "(Abstract Journal) of six renowned international retrieval systems Scopus, BIOSIS, EMBASE. China were Wanfang database, Chinese Academic Journal CD-ROM, CD-ROM Chinese Biomedical Literature Database, and "Chinese Science Abstracts", 15 abstracts included.
